The town is located inland in the southwestern part of Bohol. It can be reached through an all weather road. The municipality of Sikatuna is a fifth class municipality with a total land area of 2,675 hectares or approximately 0.93% of the area of Bohol Province. It has ten (10) barangays with a total population of 6,130. There are 1,127 households or an average of 5.35 persons per households.

The Municipality of Sikatuna situated inland in the southwestern part of Bohol about 16.6 kilometers from Tagbilaran City, the capital of Bohol as shown in Figure 1.01 and Figure 1.02. it is bounded in by the Municipalities of Balilihan and Sevilla on the south and southeast by the Municipalities of Alburquerque and Loboc on the East by the Municipalities of Loboc and Sevilla on the West by the Municipality of Corella.
