I. Functional Statement |
|

1. Prepare forms, orders and circulars embodying instructions on budgetary and appropriaiton matters |
|
for the signature of the Mayor. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
2. Review and consolidate budget proposals of different departments and offices of the local govern- |
|
ment unit. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3. Assist the Mayor in the preparation of the budget and during budget hearings. |
|
|
|
4. Assist the sanggunian concerned in reviewing the approved budgets of barangays. |
|
|
5. Study and evaluate budgetary implication for proposed legislation and submit comments and recom- |
|
mendation thereon. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
6. Coordinate with the Treasurer, Accountant and the Planning and Development Coordinator fo rhte |
|
purpose of budgeting. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
7. Coordinate with the Planning and Development Coordinator in the formulation of the local govern- |
|
ment unit development plan; and |
|
|
|
|
|
|
8. Submit periodic budgetary reports to the Department of Budget and Management. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

1. To promote and ensure effective, efficient and equitable use of government resources. |
|
|
2. To establish easy access in the monitoring of the disbursement of funds in the Local |
|
|
Government Unit. |
