The municipality is located within the 3 river basins of Abatan (2,599.6 hectares), Loboc (29.96 hectares) and Tagbuane (45.47 hectares). Since the municipality is located near the topographic divide, the river network system is poor. This together with the widespread occurrence of Maribojoc limestone indicates that almost all of the effective rainfall could infiltrate into the ground and is discharged through aquifers.
